Optical explained
If you have served your general extras waiting period and hold appropriate cover, you can claim on prescription glasses / sunglasses.
This includes:
- Frames
- Lenses
- Lens coatings
- Contact lenses
- Repairs to the above
On most of our policies, health.com.au will pay 100% of the fee up to your annual limit. You can check your policy guide by logging in to confirm your coverage.
Optical benefits do not apply to optometrist or ophthalmologist consultation fees or tests, although Medicare may contribute.
