Health Appliances
Health Appliances are items that assist a person in their day to day living, or to prevent further injuries. We have policies that include coverage for these items and a benefit may be payable. Some examples of health appliances may include:
- Blood Glucose Monitors
- Knee braces
- CPAP machines
- Hearing aids
- Pressure Garments
- Tens Machines
- Bandages and Gauzes
- Crutch hire
- Wigs
To be eligible to receive a benefit on the above items, you’ll need to have served a 12 month waiting period. Once these waiting periods have been served you can claim on these items. up to your annual limit.
