How do I check my limits?
An annual limit is the maximum amount of benefits that can be claimed for a particular Extras service or group of Extras services within a calendar year.
Only the amount actually paid to your health care provider by health.com.au comes off your annual limit.
Here’s an example. Let’s say your dentist charges $100 for a professional clean. On your specific cover (which can vary, depending on what cover you have with us!) we cover 65% of the fee - which, crazily enough, is $65. Your overall dental limit is $600. The $65 is deducted your annual limits, which leaves $535 remaining on your annual limit. Simple!
To check your annual limits, follow the below steps:
- Login to your cover through our website
- Click on "my claims"
- Click on 'limits usage"
- Drop down option for what "person and service" you wish to check
- Click "display"
